Chipper started with a room. Butter-yellow panelling, a checkerboard floor, a bar that had heard everything, and a window that put a long stripe of afternoon light across all of it. Nobody in that room was talking about their handicap.
That is the part of golf we care about. The clubhouse, the cart, the walk, the drink after. The clothes people wore when the sport still looked like something you did on a Sunday rather than something you trained for.
What we make
Wind shirts, knit polos, collared sweats. Patch caps in seersucker and brushed twill. Gloves, tees and balls packaged like objects worth keeping once they are empty.
Everything is cut from cloth that is interesting to touch — crinkle nylon, waffle knit, hickory stripe, satin trim — in runs small enough to sell out and not be made again. No mesh, no reflective tape, nothing that wicks.
How we do it
Small runs, made once. We would rather sell two hundred of something good than restock something adequate forever. When a run is gone it is gone, and the next thing is different.
We are at the sample stage right now. Real photographs, real prices and real stock are coming as the first pieces land.
Where we are
Alberta, Canada. Shipping across Canada, with the rest of the world to follow.
